My mom still thinks ear piercings are worldly...so I think in about 50 years most everyone will think this is common or or will date you (or your nose) :)
I wouldn't do it, for the simple fact that, if you don't want to wear it...you'd have a nasty hole in your nose. But I think they are sort of cute...in a carefree way :)
If you don't want to wear it, it get a clear plastic filler that looks more like a tiny, itty bitty blemish if really picky people notice, but never anything above that, and certainly not a pimple or gaping wound.
If you chose to close, it closes fairly easily and without a large scar.
This is what I've heard... I kinda want to do it, just because I think they're very fun- and it would be something completely outside the standard Courtney.
The scar thing wouldn't be a huge deal, actually... The only problem is, I don't think I'm allowed to wear it while doing clinicals. :(
